week o' sushi

Welcome to the first ever themed week at the Wigshop! Just when you thought you had us figured out, we pull something like this off.

You may have noticed, sushi has become a very popular over the last few years. Where as most people were once, "Raw fish? Weird." increasing numbers of Knoxvillians can't get enough of those little seaweed rolls. Nowadays there are many options in town to get your raw fix. Where does one start? Don't worry- the Wigshop has your back! Whether you're new to sushi, or a pro looking to branch out, we'll show you the breadth of what's available in Knoxville. This week will feature wall-to-wall highlights of what we feel is the best of the sushi scene in Knoxville. Ladies and gents, I give you Raw Knox!

Ha, that image is great. Kudos to who designed it.

I am really looking forward to this theme week. I consider myself at least semi-pro, if not a full on professional, being that I have been all the way to the skirts of Tsukiji Market in Tokyo to get the freshest sushi available. I have been to a dozen sushi places in East Tennessee and have yet to find "the" sushi place. So excited to hear what you have to say!

Discordia, that would be CK himself, who designs all of our Wigshop images.

Thank goodness. I didn't start to eat sushi until I got to college, so I have plenty of knowledge of sushi in Nashville, but I'm clueless about the fishy eats at home in Knoxville. Thanks Wigsphere!

Oooh, I do like Sapphire's Garden Snake roll (Eel, seaweed salad and cream cheese). I haven't had much else there, though. They have a roll that's topped with bacon.
