I seem to recall some beach towns where rentals were $20 or less for a full day.Mickeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16980072484914437668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6974628747643667572.post-34740911193822066622008-08-25T19:37:00.000-04:002008-08-25T19:37:00.000-04:00I guess if you liked to bike for pleasure one long...I guess if you liked to bike for pleasure one long day a month then it would be economical to rent instead of buy, but that doesn't seem to be too popular. I'm thinking there could be some money in a bike sharing program for folks who lived downtown...Lohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07524362157189357230noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6974628747643667572.post-55352031483967722462008-08-25T14:23:00.000-04:002008-08-25T14:23:00.000-04:00CK: I agree, but I wondered what would stop someon...CK: I agree, but I wondered what would stop someone for renting for back-to-back two hour periods for a total of $20? Considering that a few of their workdays aren't much longer than four hours, that seems to be economically smarter. The Modern Galhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08663558561522180816noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6974628747643667572.post-52182671024984428832008-08-25T12:05:00.000-04:002008-08-25T12:05:00.000-04:00the city has really expanded the greenway system! ...the city has really expanded the greenway system! i hadn't paid much attention until this rental announcement.

but $30 for a whole day?! sounds a little steep. even $25 would be better. we'll see if they adjust their prices if tourists stay away.ckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06540640791693095371noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6974628747643667572.post-23917101867700156052008-08-25T12:03:00.000-04:002008-08-25T12:03:00.000-04:00It's great that they have it, and hopefully it wil...It's great that they have it, and hopefully it will bring more people to the Greenway. It is pretty amazing. Riversports would be smart if they also offered some kind of minor repair service, like, oh, I don't know, a tire pump. I had a low tire one day on my bike (not one I'd rented from them) and they didn't even have a tool kit, let alone a way to pump up anyone's tire.

But if you haven't checked out the Greenways, go to it! They will be especially amzing in the fall when the leaves change.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03122991641299464047noreply@blogger.com
